Jan Matejko Monument in Warsaw The first very similar version of the monument that stands in front of the entrance to the Sculpture Garden in Salwator. This Warsaw version is slightly larger and includes an additional figure - Stańczyk - known from one of the works of the great painter visualizing the Polish epic in paintings. For Marian Konieczny, who was also the creator and initiator of the monument in Warsaw, in other words, he was also its producer, he is an important figure with whom he has often identified himself as someone who recorded figures and events important for the history of Poland in monumental art.
