Models on a scale of 1:10 and 1:5 of the monument for the competition in Frombork, where a monument was to be erected commemorating Nicolaus Copernicus, an outstanding astronomer who created the work "On the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres", which revolutionized the then theories about the place of our globe in space. In one of the awarded projects, the author surrounded the figure of a scientist with a form resembling an astrolabe, a device used in Copernicus' times to determine the position of stars and planets in the sky.
